Oh Baby!
We just love baby legs at our house...the chubbier, the better!
We had a lovely Easter. Both sets of grandparents came to lunch and Jason's sister, Jill, and brother-in-law, Zac, drove up from North Carolina to spend the day with us. I didn't take that many pictures but here a few!
We went on an afternoon walk through our neighborhood:
Can you tell Jill loves kids and makes a great kindergarden teacher?
Benjamin had a blast running around the front yard with his Auntie Jill while Zac and Grammi looked on.
Our sleepy baby has turned into a toddler who is very interested in animals. So, to celebrate Benjamin's birthday, we went to the zoo! Jason's parents came down for the Easter weekend (which coincided perfectly with Benjamin's birthday!) and we had a great time Saturday morning checking out all of the animals.

Here is Grammi with the BOB. Can you spot Samuel playing Peek-a-Boo??

The Norfolk zoo now has a cute train that takes visitors on a short ride around the parameter of the zoo.

Typical two-year old; doesn't like being kissed!
I bought the slide at a yardsale on base in California last summer before Samuel was born (I was so hugely pregnant that the seller refused to let me haul it home--she loaded it in her truck and personally delivered to our driveway!) Last summer, Benjamin was too small to go down the slide but he had loads of fun playing in the house underneath.
Fast forward seven months and I was pleasantly surprised to see him run out our backdoor and immediately climb up the steps and slide down all by himself like a pro! I guess he really is starting to grow up!
Benjamin l-o-v-e-s playing with his firetruck.
Yup, I'm pretty crazy about these two!
