Spring!!

After living in brown, dry, season-less southern California, it is so refreshing to watch Spring unfold, right now, in our very own backyard. Our backyard has six ginormous Camellia bushes that have already begun blooming.
We have one with white flowers: Two with deep pink/dusky red flowers: One with peppermint stripes: And this pale pink one is my favorite because the flowers look like roses. Here our resident gardener, showing me a new way to pick flowers: Yes, kitchen tongs are a multipurpose tool in our house!
