Evidently it was a tradition for all of the grandkids on my mother's side to have at least one bath in the kitchen sink at my grandparents' summer place in Cape May, NJ. My mom really wanted Benjamin to have the same experience so we scrubbed out her kitchen sink and gave him quite the bubble bath!
When I give Benjamin a bath at home, he sits in a bouncy chair type seat in the tub so his head and feet are elevated out of the water. This time, he loved actually being able to sit in the water and kick his feet and splash around! He kept trying to eat the bubbles and it was rather funny to watch him stuff bath bubbles into his mouth. I think he is definitely going to enjoy his bath time once he can sit up!
