Playground Time

Instead of taking a walk this morning, my neighbors and I planned to take all of the kids to PlaySource, an indoor playground. We showed up bright and early to have some fun...only to discover that the play place has recently gone out of business. Being the resourceful moms that we are, we simply switched our plans from an indoor playground to an outdoor one. It was great! The weather couldn't have been more delightful as it was a sunny day but breezy and the playground had plenty of shade. Being able to play outside without fighting off the swarms of mosquitoes that also call Point Mugu home was fantastic!

This is our neighbor, Laura and her son, Mathew. Their family recently moved to Point Mugu and we've enjoyed getting to know them on our morning walks. This is my next door neighbor, Danielle with her youngest daughter, Casey: Casey couldn't be any cuter! And it is a challenge to get two wiggle worms to pose for a picture. Here Casey joins her big sister, Addison...but only for a second! Here are my friend Amanda's boys, Sam and Micah: Micah knows there is more to having fun at a playground than just sliding down the slides: Benjamin sat in his stroller for the first half our of stay at the playground while I ran around taking pictures And then he joined me in sliding down the slide!
