A Little Experiment...

For the past week and a half, Jason's squadron has been out to sea. Just before he left, though, I thought I'd try a little experiment to see if Benjamin was ready/interested in scribbling on paper.
You can tell he is the first born, since I opened a brand new box of crayons for him to use: I put him in his highchair and taped a piece of white paper to the tray. Here are the results: After I wrote on his paper and scribbled a bit to show him what crayons are all about, Benjamin finally got in on the action...using a pen: I think it's safe to say he's not quite interested in coloring yet. We'll try again in a few weeks!
