Since Jason is pretty much gone on the boat for the month of December, we ran out the day after Thanksgiving to get our first Christmas tree! We didn't have one last year because we traveled up to Michigan to visit with Jason's family plus we knew that we were moving right after Christmas...so we've been looking forward to having a live Christmas tree all year :)
As you can tell, Lucy is very good about taking new things in the house calmly in stride.
After we got the tree in the stand, cut off the ties, and fluffed out the branches, we realized our tree grew up a little crooked...but it is nothing that a few lights (try 450 actually...) and some decorations can't fix!
Jason had the honor of putting the star on top!
