Congratulations Jason!!!

Jason just sent me the pictures of his promotion that occurred earlier this month. I think he's got one of the coolest promotion stories! Usually there is more than one person in the squadron who is up for promotion and so they plan a brief ceremony in front of everyone. The timing of Jason's promotion, however, came as a complete surprise. He was actually in the plane, flying over Afghanistan when he took his oath and received his new pins.
There isn't much space in the back of the plane so the angles are not the greatest, but here is Jason retaking the oath and posing with his new rank. This deployment and long term separation hasn't always been the easiest but we are definitely thankful that the boat is now headed in the right direction! I'm so proud of everything you've done, babe, and congratulations!
