It is so fun to watch Benjamin notice new things and want to explore. For the past few weeks, he's gotten a kick out of having Lucy come up to him and lick or sniff him when he sits in my lap. Yesterday, I put him down next to Lucy and he was very interested--he immediately grabbed a handful of Lucy's hair! Lucy will have a different life once Benjamin can crawl and chase her :)
Thankfully, I think Lucy must have belonged to a family with children before we adopted her. While we always watch her when she is around young children just to be safe, she is very calm and relaxed around them and takes their exploring and poking and prodding in stride. When she's had enough, she just gets up and walks away. She's a great dog!
