Eight Months Old

Benjamin is eight months old today! I simply cannot believe how quickly time has passed since the day he was born. He is no longer a tiny infant and is turning into such a big boy, right in front of our eyes. We are in the middle of the teething stage (I can see tooth number six and we're waiting for it to pop through any day now...) Benjamin's spiking hair is starting to grow longer and in the last few days, he's gotten amazing better at sitting by himself for very long stretches before toppling over. He loves to play peak-a-boo and perks up as soon as he hears his bedroom door open--he always looks very expectantly through his crib slats to see the door and to watch us come into his room. He has completely adapted to Jason being home and settles right into Jason's arms; it is very sweet to see the two of them together!
