The Getty

Jason flew home on Tuesday! The military is notorious about rearranging schedules at the last minute and we've had our taste of the disappointment that comes with unexpected changes but this time, we had a complete surprise and Jason got to come home a day earlier! The extra bonus is that his squadron has the rest of the week off so we've been thinking of fun family things to do.
This afternoon we went to the Getty, a museum just off the Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu. It is predominately a museum dedicated to Roman artifacts, which isn't exactly my forte, but we still had a wonderful time being outside in the warm sunshine. And the spring flowers! Who knew they actually grew flowers in California?? I loved seeing blooming daffodils!
