Lucy Loves the Beach

Now that Jason is home, Lucy knows that she gets to go to the beach! She adores riding in the car but since Jason bought his Jeep, she knows that anytime she gets to ride in it, it usually means a trip to the beach...and she trots extra quickly out to the Jeep and waits for Jason to open up the back so she can hop in. We took Lucy to the beach Saturday afternoon--it was so warm, a perfect beach day!

We are so proud of Lucy now that she has figured out that in order to successfully bring her Jolly Ball back to shore, she has to tow it in using the rope!

During this trip to the beach, we saw quite a few helicopters flying over the ocean by Malibu and then cutting across land just by Our Mountain.

And, I had lots of fun using the features on our new camera. My especial favorite is the color accent feature where you can take a picture in black & white but choose to leave one color normal. In this case, I chose red because of Lucy's red leash and Jason's red shirt.

Our camera zooms in quite nicely too...and we were finally able to get some close-ups of the resident fat slugs (aka Harbor Seals) that soak up the sun at Point Mugu. Check out the snow still on the mountains!
