On the Move...

Two days after Jason left last week, Benjamin started crawling! He has been doing more of the Army low crawl but it is still really exciting to see him start to get around!! Today he has tried tackling the hands and knees type of crawling, with great success. He is still pretty happy to just sit and play with the toys surrounding him and he will only crawl if he sees something that he really, really wants.
This morning, he started off underneath the end table. It was very cozy until he bonked his head while trying to get out. That is one thing that I'm discovering comes with his newly found mobility...plenty of boo-boos and tears, which we're just not used to! I've had these magnets up on the lower part of the fridge for a few weeks. Just today, Benjamin finally noticed them! It was like his eyes lit up and he made a beeline for them. He pulled each one off the refrigerator and carefully chewed it up before chucking it on the floor behind him and reaching for a new one. And, Benjamin made it over to investigate what the dishwasher is all about.
